IMHO having a gray named Milton is presumptuous. I was overruled. So, Milton it is. However, chez nous the initial M will always stand for Mathilda. Therefore, Milton is M2. BTW, changing a horse’s name is supposed to be bad luck. I’ve kept names. I’ve changed names. I’ve never noticed a karmic equivalence.
