Annual trip to vet clinic for basic maintenance. Milton was chill. Rodney was the drama llama. We think Milton had been telling tales about his time at the clinic and got Rodney all worked up. [Welcome Home]
Coggins, shots, check teeth. Milton got an internal exam.
Weight. Milton 1170 pounds, needs a few less. Up from last year. Rodney 1200 pounds, needs a few more. Down from last year.
After we loaded up to leave, a kind client pointed out that we had a flat tire on the trailer. Rodney did not want to get back off the trailer. No. No. No. I wanna go. (Fixed with gas station patch. Everyone home safe.)
Gold stars. Both horses walked right on the trailer. We may not know how to buy horses. We may not know how to show horses. Ground work? We got that.
Please excuse the halter. It’s the trailer spare. It’s been a while. We need to restock various shipping supplies. Normally, the bedazzled halter is the halter of shame when someone breaks theirs. Part of Milton’s 2018 costume.
