Vorfreude is the enjoyment of things to come, pre-joy.

Interesting that schadenfreude is well known but not this happy counterpart.

Like the letters and the word. You know I like words, so this was interesting.
Came across it while reading about ancient Greek philosophy, which is not where I would have expected.
