Is anyone else fighting weird seasonal weather?
Our temps have been in the high 80s/low 90s, which is cool for an Alabama summer, but accompanied by off-the-charts humidity. Plus the daily afternoon thunderstorms which seem to be more ferocious than usual.
Granted, the boys don’t work terribly hard in the general course of things. However, I’m not even doing enough to blog about, and I can create blog posts from dust motes and baling twine.
What’s up chez vous?
Thank you for reading,

Crazy-crazy here, too. I keep a training journal, so I know exactly how many rides I’ve logged per month. I killed May and June and semi-killed July. I rode early every morning through our official 10-day heat wave, then I just up and quit the fight when temps soared again. The heat. The bugs. The humidity … it was too much and I ended up exhausted and frustrated. Not a good combo for riding. So we took a break. Nothing. Nada. Not even ground work. The days turned into almost 3 weeks until I finally rode (lightly) yesterday. Felt good to be doing something again. This morning it was 48 degrees at 6 AM. Huh? Like I said; crazy, crazy, crazy.
hot hot hot here too. stay inside most of the day. And farmer’s almanac says bitter cold winter. Sleep too much.
