1. I have Ariats from 1990 and though they look like they’ve been through a war, they are still my favorites!

2. Old boots are still mostly sound except for a hole in the left toe, which is fun in the mud, and the shredded tongues, which make zipping a joy & delight. Zippers still work however. Keeping them as spares.
