WOW! I used to get a lot of ribbons at the county fair, but the fanciest – which i never won – oh wait, i won one champion – anyway, they never had ribbons like that. I can’t do the fair any more, just not up to it, but i enter quilt contest and others like the Ugly Necklace that can be entered by mail. Haven’t won any ribbons except “exhibitor”. But several of my non-winning quilts have been chosen to travel for a year as part of special exhibits as “best of the rest”. I only recently found out that a challenge I entered had 40 entries, but only 30 were chosen to travel with the exhibit. So that’s something. Just wish they gave ribbons for the challenge quilts!
