My Horse Show Road Trip Survival Kit assembled on the hood of the rental car: cookies for sweet (this flavor reserved for show weekends), pretzels for salt, yuppie gorp for nibbles, Lara bars & Glucerna for breakfast and other missed meals, Pepto & peppermints for a tum in various states of wiggliness. Food has been carefully tuned for (a) driving (b) to a horse show (c) by myself. If flying, I would take only the compact and TSA-compliant items. If no horse show, less of the nervous food. If Husband is going, he handles the food.

My trophy-prize duffel packed and in the hotel ready for another horse show. If you don’t think this tickles me down to my socks, you missed the part about my not-so-inner 12 year old.

You are so organized! Way cool!
Where could I have gotten it from?
I used to eat the most incredible crap when I was HorseShowMom driving the YD around the place. I don’t know how my stomach survived those years. You’re WAAAAY more sensible than I was.
