New cookie container to replace the one that got gnawed. From Hartley & Sons. Found for $2 at a thrift store. [Treat Security]

It is hard to find metal bins these days. Everything was plastic, with occasional pottery. The former no longer works, the latter would break into sharp bits. In four tries – feed, pet, hardware & thrift stores – our options were this or an overly large, 20-gallon trash can.

New tin is small. Majority of treats will still have to be kept in the house. This is for when we get to the barn and realize that we forgot, which I did within 24 hours of bringing tin home.

Will keep looking for larger, barn-compatible container. At least now there will be fewer trips back to the house.

Onwards!
Katherine
