Awareness of the outside world. Cross Country Equestrian. Gambler’s Choice for Eventing?

I have not yet had a lesson at New Barn. [Checking Out A Possible New Lesson Barn]
I have emailed them several times with various brilliant ideas. I have stopped by twice. All of this before becoming an official client. I am worried that I am starting to approach stalker levels. This is not idle insecurity on my part. My enthusiasm is vast and not always well received. [Not My Horses, Not My Barn]
Didn’t matter as much with Previous Horse. I had my own horse. I could do my own thing. I was not dependent on the good will of others to ride.
Meanwhile, Stepping Stone Farm continues to be a haven. The plan was to take March off to perhaps learn & grow. [The Next Step]
I didn’t make the entire month of March, but I did make four weeks after the last Winter Tournament in mid-February. I learned that the only thing I was growing was mold. Resumed ride & drive lessons.
If I get started with New Barn, I may put the SSF ride lessons on hold for a bit. Get myself settled with a new instructor before I try to do both.

Onwards!

Sounds like a good plan. Too much at once is tough, particularly similar things.
Your grandmother was a language major, studying several languages at once. She found it was hard to keep them straight.
Also, a new barn deserves all your attention. It’s a big step.
