And thanks for the link to the review. I was sorry to lose Bombadil but grateful, otherwise, to lose 140 pages of being lost in forest. All the “good guys” had blue eyes. Every one. (A detail noted because mine are hazel and dolls in my childhood were blue-eyed and I resented that.)
