Rodney has now decided he does our morning pasture walks at liberty, thank you very much. A few weeks ago we had one of those warm evening/cold nights that often result in morning shenanigans. [Predicting Mission Success]
Other barn minion brought out a leadrope to use on the walk back for the first few laps. Just to be sure. When approached, Rodney blew right past. Nope. Not me. Don’t do leadropes anymore.
Milton continues to hum along. Most of the time. Yesterday, he marched past the turnaround on the first lap. I had done my monthly 5K yesterday and was moving slowly. Did he ignore the cookie stop because I was not in front, the way I usually am? Did he think there were hay scraps to be had back at the barn? Dunno. I called his name. He stopped. Bravo.
