Tried, once again, to heave myself over the seemingly insurmountable hurdle of finding a hunter/jumper lesson.
No dice.
Stopped by barn to chat with folks. Wanted to explain self in person. Gate closed. Drove up in case of proximity sensor. Nope.
Well, that’s disappointing.
Went back later, after school hours. Maybe they close in the middle of the day. Despite cars in the parking lot and riders in the ring, gate was closed. Widget next to gate is a keypad, not intercom. You must have the code. There is no way to contact those inside.
Hard not to feel frosty vibes. If you’re not us, we don’t want you here.
