Snow fell overnight. Light & fluffy at 4 am (dog went out to use the facilities, I gave thanks that the people did not have to use an outhouse). By the time pix taken, freezing rain had started. Snow had sunk down & started turning into slush.

I never knew you could get that much snow in AL. Every time I see a movie or tv show set before everywhere had indoor plumbing, that was the first thing I thought of – outhouse! Of course You’d be so frozen when you got there….in older, rich areas, there were chamber pots that you’d use overnight, then a servant or slave would remove them in the morning. Yuk!
I think seeing footprints and paw prints and hoof prints is one of my favorite things about snow. And I love snow.
