The feed store is closed on Wednesday afternoons. This fact will not stay in my brain. The store has extended their Wednesday hours until 3 pm. I still missed. [I Remembered!]

Ohhhhh seriously annoying now. The only time I’ve encountered early closing hours at stores on Wednesdays is in Alabama in small towns and outlying ‘burbs of bigger cities, with an older population. I think it’s a throwback to life before tv, or maybe people had to visit relatives or make food for church suppers in the middle of the week. Just guessing. I still think it’s a holdover from another time and place. I’ve been caught too. I feel your annoyance. MM
I think the reason is that I lose track of which day of the week it is.
