Milton at Play

Awareness of the outside world. Women Globetrotters? Yup. Harlem Globetrotters: BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE, TWO-TIME OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST, AND WNBA GREAT, LYNETTE WOODARD, RETURNS TO THE HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS AS SPECIAL ADVISOR. 2022.

First effort. Mud. We thought this was impressive. Note dirt around eye.

Going back for seconds in wet sand.

Pinto!

Onwards!

  1. Catching up on emails — so just now (Tuesday) saw yesterday’s post — Love it! I swear horses have their own spa treatments. And, they just love soft, red clay dirt, the hardest type to get out of their hair, of course. I read somewhere that they roll for a variety of reasons, and that a layer of mud/dirt is an insect repellant in summer, a warm up in winter, shedding winter coat in spring, which make sense. But I also read where rolling gives their back a relaxing moment. So, I don’t resent having to clean mud from a horse’s rolling, but think of it as their idea of self care, or facial, or a trip to the spa. MM
