I managed to keep my bright red shirt out of the camera reflection but not the camera strap. I had the strap around my neck to keep the camera safe on the railing. A good meta picture is hard! [Creek]

You are so lucky to have so many beautiful walks!
Pretty pictures. Like the shadows and composition. Do more. Birmingham has a lot of walking places, which is a nice surprise about living here.
There is a bridge with same construction at McCallum Park, off of Rocky Ridge Road, in Vestavia Hills, but I don’t think it is as long as this bridge.
Re eliminating bright red shirt on camera viewing screen – here’s a story from the film era, I heard directly from a now-retired “National Geographic” Picture Editor — If you know this one, I apologize:
One of the “NG” photographers shot a lot of big forests and mountain landscapes photos. Picture Editor noticed, over time, that there was always a man wearing a red shirt somewhere in the photo, which added a contrast to all of the green and brown in the photos, which gave the photos some visual pop.
Picture Editor looked closely at several of the photographer’s assignments. It was the same red shirt.
Picture Editor asked the photographer if it was his red shirt, and did he take it on all of his assignments?
Yes. Yes.
So photos were a tad staged which “NG” doesn’t want.
Photographer didn’t take his red shirt on any more assignments.
Enjoy your blog very much .
